After three successful years at the National Stationery Show I will debut my line of art and illustration in May at SURTEX 2012. My greeting card collection includes over 150 designs which are now available in over 300 U.S. shops, as well as in England, New Zealand, and Australia.
Happy independent stationery and gift shop owners have repeatedly asked to see the greeting card art on other products which led to the opening of the new licensing division and a booth at SURTEX. In addition to offering the art that appears on my cards for licensing I'm also creating a collection of patterns and borders from the elements in each card. The resulting motifs are colorful and range from formal to casual. suitable for stationery, giftwrap, and home decor, as well as floor and wall coverings and apparel.
I'm a recent transplant to New York from Chicago where I had a graphic design firm for over 15 years, giving me experience with clients like Levis, Kitty Litter, Campbells, The American Library Association, Baxter, and The Chicago Board of Trade. In addition to print materials I designed T-shirts, mugs, notebooks, and tote bags. I've had plenty of experience working with printers and manufacturers and I'm good at providing the necessary art. I'm also great with deadlines. And with my clients keeping me busy I became adept at the computer, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
You can see the collection at SURTEX 2012 at the Javits Center in NYC, May 20-22. I'll be in Booth 357.
